HANGUK

Greetings Viewers!

When expats enter the Depression/Anxiety phase of culture shock, one of two things happen: Either they stay in this phase until they are able to leave the country or they move into the Adjustment phase. This third phase of culture shock represents an expat’s struggle to reconcile both the good and the bad of their new home country.

After living in South Korea for 5 years, I’ve seen a lot of good and my fair share of bad. But that’s true of any country and any experience. Of course everyone has bad days, made worse by the fact of being an “outsider”, but the in end it all depends on your attitude. ^_^ A positive one will help expat’s survive and thrive.
